Founded in 1951, the British Canadian Chamber of Trade & Commerce is governed by an elected Board.  Its mission is  the promotion of the transatlantic business interests of its members.

The Chamber is a private sector non-profit organization that receives no funding from either the Canadian nor British Governments. The BCCTC, however, maintains a close relationship and receives support from the British High Commission, and its offices across Canada, and the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT).

The BCCTC, through a Memorandum of Understanding, maintains close ties with the Canada-United Kingdom Chamber of Commerce and other Chambers based in Britain. This agreement encourages meetings of key leaders in both the UK and Canada. In addition the BCCTC is a member of the British American Business Council (BABC), an association of 33 British American Chambers across the USA and Mexico.  The BCCTC also has a seat on the Board of  the European Union of Chambers of Commerce in Toronto (EUCOCIT), an umbrella organization for the 25 European countries that have active business associations here.

The aim of the BCCTC is to provide a business networking forum for companies and individuals  engaged in business between Canada, the UK and Europe. This consists of: breakfast seminars, monthly networking evenings, an annual golf tournament, a traditional Christmas Luncheon and a soon to be conference on "Doing Business with Britain"

Membership provides a business networking forum and community that introduces supports and advocates for business people and organizations in Canada and provides a gateway to the UK, EU and North America. Members receive current information on trade and commerce and have the opportunity to build connections with key government and corporate contacts in both the UK and Canada. Join today and build your network and your brand and access a range of events and services to stay connected.
