The Chamber's Mission

The Chamber's mission is to be the foremost non-governmental authority on all aspects of two-way trade and investment between Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.

In the UK contacts are maintained principally with UK Trade & Investment, the Department Business Innovation & Skills, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, City of London Corporation, UK foreign direct investment agencies, regional development agencies and local enterprise partnerships.

The Chamber works closely with the Canadian High Commission, with Canadian provincial governments, the London offices of the Governments of Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario and Qu├ębec, and in Canada, Federal and Provincial Government departments and offices, the British High Commission, British and Canadian Chambers of Commerce and Boards of Trade, municipal authorities and trade associations.

In the UK the Chamber is a participating member of the Council of Foreign Chambers of Commerce, and the Chamber maintains close links with other bi-lateral chambers around the world.

The chamber has a busy event programme, refers queries to member companies only, introduces members to members as well as members to non-member contacts, promotes member to member offers, produces various publications for its membership (such as bi-monthly newsletters, corporate lists, Frequently Asked Question Sheets and a Directory of Members) and has various committees, forums and sector contacts. There are many advertising and sponsorship opportunities for members.
